About Kitty, tmux and me

2 min read

Although I don't deeply understand Kovid Goyal's explanations about multiplexer I acknowledge his project Kitty and ditch tmux for session persistence on my local machine.

What can I say? As someone who learns from scratch—just following what others do—I liked the title of his terminal emulator— honestly, that's what made me try Kitty a couple of years ago when I started to enjoy the terminal world. "What's more adorable than a cute Kitty with all its kittens?"

Well, I've decided to take it a step further and actually use more of Kitty's features and since I created a page with basically just garbage, I'm trying to fake a blog, use my mind more often, try to formulate whole sentences about what I figured and put it on the web like a message in a bottle. Who knows? I might even reveal a talent for literature.

Nah, just kidding. Despite reading nowadays mostly English, my grammar and natural language is a mess. But I should use this opportunity to polish my former school English. I ain't got nothing to lose. But when some reader figures fixing my language and whatever, go for it, I'll appreciate it.

There are hell lot of opinions on Kitty, Kovid Goyal, tmux+kitty, and so on and so forth, and I don't understand the tiniest bit. Well, I won't even try to understand all, I began just my journey to understand what Kitty can do. Although, I link some posts I find worth noticing. Someone might be so kind and explain them later.
